New report further exposes Turkey links to ISIL militants

KONFRONTASI - A newly-released report has shed further light on the Turkish government’s links to the ISIL militants, showing that Ankara is helping the Takfiri terrorist recruits cross the border into Syria.

A reporter working for Britain’s Sky News has obtained documents showing that the Turkish government has stamped passports of foreign militants seeking to cross the Turkey border into Syria to join the ISIL terrorists.

Passports from different countries were recovered in a village near Syria’s strategic town of Kobani across the Turkish border.

NATO says will protect Turkey against ISIL militants

KONFRONTASI  - The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has expressed its readiness to defend Turkey as a member state in the face of attacks from the ISIL Takfiri militants.

Speaking at a news conference in Poland’s capital city of Warsaw on Monday, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg held the Western military alliance responsible for protecting Turkey’s “integrity” and its borders.

    "Turkey should know that NATO will be there if there is any spillover, any attacks on Turkey as a consequence of the violence we see in Syria," Stoltenberg said.

ISIL opens 1st consulate in Turkish capital

KONFRONTASI - The ISIL Takfiri terrorists have purportedly opened a consulate in Turkey and use it to issue visas for those who want to join the fight against the Syrian and Iraqi governments.

The Turkish daily Aydinlik said in a recent report that the consulate was founded in the Cankaya district of the capital Ankara.

The militants are said to be operating freely inside the country without much problem.

ISIL fast reaching Turkey border despite US airstrikes

KONFRONTASI - The terrorist ISIL group has made advances on areas near the Syrian border with Turkey, despite airstrikes against the Takfiri militants by a US-led coalition.

According to reports late on Tuesday, the Takfiri terrorists have come within two kilometers of the major Syrian border town of Ain al-Arab situated in the northern province of Aleppo. The town is also known as Kobani to the Kurds.

The Takfiri ISIL terrorists have had the strategic Syrian town under siege during the past several days.
