KONFRONTASI - US President Barack Obama has condemned the killing of two New York policemen. 

“The officers who serve and protect our communities risk their own safety for ours every single day - and they deserve our respect and gratitude every single day," Obama said in a statement on Sunday.  

The killing of the officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu was an apparent retaliation for the police violence that has inflamed racial tensions across the US in the past several months.
